I've been three times to pick up half yard of sand, gravel crushers, or soil. Each time the folks are very kind and helpful. I'm in and out in five or ten minutes. Great service. Great product. Reasonable prices. Super convenient convenient location, too.

I’m a landscape contractor and I love going to Lee Hill Peat. Carol in the office is very friendly and knowledgeable about any material questions you might have. Anyone reviewing here about certain material quality should know that’s how that type of material usually is at any landscape supplier. Eco compost -> has small trash pieces in it from the recycling process (unfortunately), 3/4” rock->will have smaller rock in it, fill dirt -> is not screened and will have large chunks of junk in it. Having this material supplier in Boulder makes the cost of landscaping more affordable for everyone, thanks Lee Hill.

I urgently needed a very small amount of soil and it happened to be 4:30 on Friday, so I called ahead to make sure they'd still be open and could sell small amounts of planter's mix. I did NOT think to ask if they take credit cards. So I drove up all in a hurry right before closing and with no cash on me, but they knew I urgently wanted the dirt so they told me to take it and come back with money the next day! I've never encountered something like that, even for $3 worth of soil. I mean, I'm not recommending anyone go up there without cash, and I was super glad I found enough bills and quarters in my car because the trip back up would have been a hassle, but I appreciated the offer immensely. They were very nice to me.

We've been customers for years. I find them friendly an great to work with. John's fantastic at getting that big truck up our driveway, which is no small feat! Just ordered a load of crushed asphalt from them today. So that's 3X I've ordered from them this summer alone.
